What is Ambient Press?
Launched in 2022 by director Jake Wegesin, Ambient Press was formed with the sole purpose of using the medium of animation to communicate new stories and ideas that bring people together. Under a new name, the scope and volume of our work will continue to grow as we work with new clients and artists alike.

Where did the name Ambient Press come from?
Well, it all started with our mission - to tell interesting stories. Since the printing press, the press has been the primary way of getting news out to large portions of the population. And when it comes to lighting, ambient light covers large areas, is soft, approachable. Our studio derives a lot of inspiration from those two concepts. We are wide reaching and varied with our abilities - writing unique stories, designing relatable characters, and crafting complex effects. And we use those abilities to tell stories. All leading to the birth of Ambient Press.
